WORLD-TREE
In
the crusts of chidakasa (hyperspace) there is a mountain. Upon its plateau
there is a tree of this world. Stars are flowers, clouds are
leaves, sun and moon are boughs; god, demon, men are birds.
Seven oceans are moats around with thousands of rivers. Pleasure and pain are fruits. Infatuation is
the water for sustenance.
Mind is the seed; and activity, dullness and peace are three branches
containing the container of gems of pleasure and pain.
There
are two origins of seed sprouting. Vibration of prana and
solidification on it. When prana vibrates one hundred
nerves are
affected and become sensationalized. As blueness in sky, world
appears in satvic mind. When it becomes extrovert it becomes
an active mind. When it becomes peaceful in dullness and
inactivity it is called tamasic mind.
Worry
is the fruit. Actions are leaves. Modification of mind is a
vine that surrounds the tree. Love and hatred are two larks.
Hankering black cobra lives in this tree, senses are birds
sitting upon it.
It has
to be chopped off by detachment. Like strong wind collapses a
tree you got to create, Rama, storms of Self investigation.
Then only this gigantic tree of world will be blown off.
Sensation is
the seed of passion and that is the vibration of prana. It can
be transcended by entering into Mystic Trance. In the sesame,
except oil, there is nothing. Same way in pure consciousness
there is nothing except pure consciousness. As in dream one
sees one's death or going abroad, same way sensation arises in
consciousness. Assumes the form of "I am". In this bubble of
"I am" the illusion of world appears. To a child his own fear
born ghost appears to be true and scares him to death, same way
out of one's own imagination world appears as true, solid,
scientific and logical. Philosophy, logic, psychology, science
is one's own concoction. That is why they keep changing all the
time.
Due to incorrect perception, perception becomes conception.
And it drops the Self in terrible trouble. Just like a
crazy horse can dump you in a terrible disaster -- exactly like
that. This incorrect conception followed by materialistic
perception is very difficult to be rooted out. It is so
difficult to root out a mountain from ground, it is the same way
for passion. Dissolution of
passion and mind are simultaneous. That is accomplished by
Tatvajnana (Transcendental Knowledge).
